Romy and Michele are bringing the '90s straight to the stage! As previously announced, the world premiere musical adaptation of the 1997 cult comedy film ROMY & MICHELE'S HIGH SCHOOL REUNION has set a Summer 2017 debut at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre. With nearly 2000 subscribers in attendance, The 5th Avenue Theatre Executive Producer and Artistic Director David Armstrong revealed the season line-up for its 7-show 2016/17 season.

DON'T BREAK UP THE BAND: A ROCK OF AGES BROADWAY CAST REUNION CONCERT is set for tonight, January 25th, 2016, at Highline Ballroom in NYC. 

Showmance Productions is proud to announce DON'T BREAK UP THE BAND: A ROCK OF AGES BROADWAY CAST REUNION CONCERT. Scheduled for January 25th, 2016 at Highline Ballroom in NYC, the evening will feature Rock of Ages Broadway cast members from opening night to closing night, as well as band members from the show's fictional rock band, Arsenal. The concert will include songs from bands like REO Speedwagon, STYX, Pat Benatar, Foreigner, Twisted Sister, Poison, Asia, Whitesnake and more!

In what has become an annual ritual, a total of 36 established and emerging composers, lyricists, and librettists will converge on the Goodspeed campus from mid-January through mid-February 2016 to participate in the Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. The writing teams, representing 19 new musicals, will populate the campus, creating a truly exciting environment for discovery and inspiration. Speaking with Vulture at last night's Louis Vuitton premiere of Shelter, director Amy Heckerling revealed that her dream cast for a Broadway musical adaptation of CLUELESS would include pop star Katy Perry.

Tony nominated Director, Kristin Hanggi (Rock of Ages) has helmed a new music video for the song 'Love Too Much', performed by Charissa Hogeland, currently starring as Nicola in the Kinky Boots national tour and of Heathers: The Musical fame, and John Davisi, one of the producers of Hanggi's latest film - Naomi & Ely's No Kiss List. The video also features Justin Mortelliti, currently in Rock of Ages - Vegas, and Ryan Ward, one of the stars of No Kiss List.

Performers from the beloved Off-Broadway musical BARE came together just last night to honor the show's late creator, Damon Intrabartolo, at Feinstein's/ 54 Below. Cast members from the original Los Angeles and Off-Broadway companies, as well as those from the recent revival at New World Stages, reunited to celebrate Intrabartolo, who passed away in 2013. Led by Kristin Hanggi, performers included Michael Arden, Jenna Leigh Green, John HIll, Natalie Joy Johnson, Taylor Trensch, Jonah Platt, and many more!

Beloved 1990s cult comedy ROMY AND MICHELE'S HIGH SCHOOL REUNION, starring Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino, is being presented as a one-night-only concert event tonight, July 8, featuring the score of a new musical adaptation of the hit film.

CLUELESS director Amy Heckerling has finally revealed more details on the long-gestating musical adaptation of the hit 90s film.

Rock of Ages opened on Broadway in 2008 and closed last January after 2,328 regular performances and 22 previews. It is still running strong at the Venetian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The music in the show is drawn from the glam metal and hair bands popular in the 1980s and it tends to be familiar to the audience who often sings along.
