Showmance Productions is proud to announce DON'T BREAK UP THE BAND: A ROCK OF AGES BROADWAY CAST REUNION CONCERT. Scheduled for January 25th, 2016 at Highline Ballroom in NYC, the evening will feature Rock of Ages Broadway cast members from opening night to closing night, as well as band members from the show's fictional rock band, Arsenal. The concert will include songs from bands like REO Speedwagon, STYX, Pat Benatar, Foreigner, Twisted Sister, Poison, Asia, Whitesnake and more!
In what has become an annual ritual, a total of 36 established and emerging composers, lyricists, and librettists will converge on the Goodspeed campus from mid-January through mid-February 2016 to participate in the Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. The writing teams, representing 19 new musicals, will populate the campus, creating a truly exciting environment for discovery and inspiration. Tony nominated Director, Kristin Hanggi (Rock of Ages) has helmed a new music video for the song 'Love Too Much', performed by Charissa Hogeland, currently starring as Nicola in the Kinky Boots national tour and of Heathers: The Musical fame, and John Davisi, one of the producers of Hanggi's latest film - Naomi & Ely's No Kiss List. The video also features Justin Mortelliti, currently in Rock of Ages - Vegas, and Ryan Ward, one of the stars of No Kiss List.
Performers from the beloved Off-Broadway musical BARE came together just last night to honor the show's late creator, Damon Intrabartolo, at Feinstein's/ 54 Below. Cast members from the original Los Angeles and Off-Broadway companies, as well as those from the recent revival at New World Stages, reunited to celebrate Intrabartolo, who passed away in 2013.
