Dates Set for East and West Coast Memorial Services for BARE Composer Damon Intrabartolo

Earlier this month, BroadwayWorld reported that Damon Intrabartolo, who wrote the music for BARE, passed away on August 13 in Arizona where he has been living the last few years. He was 39 years old. It was just announced on his memorial Facebook page that a New York memorial will be held on September 30th at Saint Clement's Church (46th Street), and his Los Angeles memorial on September 23rd at Pasadena Playhouse.

Relativity School of Film, Media and Performing Arts will host a panel discussion with the creative team behind one of the longest running shows in Broadway history today, July 22nd from 3-5pm PST at LA Center Studios, 450 South Bixel St, LA, CA 90017. This will be the first time the creative team tells the amazing story of ROCK OF AGES at a live panel. The team will include: Chris D'Arienzo (writer), Kristin Hanggi (director), Matt Weaver (lead producer), Hillary Weaver (producer), Janet Billig Rich (producer and music supervisor), Dave Gibbs (orchestrations and arrangements), and Scott Prisand (producer).

ROCK OF AGES Cast Attempts New Air Guitar Record at West End Live 2013

The cast of ROCK OF AGES rallied the crowds at West End Live last weekend in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Air Guitar Ensemble. With several thousands of people rocking to 'Sweet Child O' Mine' in Trafalgar Square there's no doubt that the crowd was big enough to beat the ensemble of just 2377 in the US casino which has held the record since 2011. Yet the final decision rests with World Record officials who must decide whether the attempt qualifies according to their rules.
