John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey, the couple The New York Times called 'a musical match made in heaven,' will perform with the orchestra in a program featuring festive holiday tunes such as 'We Need a Little Christmas', 'It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year', 'Go Tell It On the Mountain', 'Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy', 'I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm' and 'Little Bolero Boy'. Essential Voices USA, conducted by Judith Cluman, will also join The New York Pops in the festive concert at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced the winners of the NYMF 2011 Awards for Excellence. Awards will be presented at the Eight Season Awards Gala taking place on Sunday, November 6th at The Hudson Theatre (145 W. 44th Street) beginning at 6:00pm. American Airlines, a long-time patron and supporter of the arts, has formed a new partnership to produce the 'Hudson Union Society Salute to Broadway' speaker series. The Hudson Union Society is a midtown Manhattan-based organization that provides first-hand access to some of the world's most distinguished leaders in business, entertainment and politics.

Producer Daryl Roth announced today that stand up comedian and writer Jenny Allen (I Got Sick Then I Got Better), TV and stage veteran Eve Plumb ('The Brady Bunch') and 'Gossip Girl' actress Amanda Setton will join the upcoming cast of the hit Off Broadway show Love, Loss, and What I Wore. They join current cast member Zuzanna Szadkowski ('Gossip Girl'), who will stay on for her fourth cast, and previously announced cast member Maddie Corman (Next Fall) in a run that begins Wednesday, November 2 through Sunday, December 4 at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43 Street).
