The 28th Annual Drama League Benefit Gala, A Musical Celebration of Broadway Honoring Kristin Chenoweth, will be held on February 6, 2012 at the famed Pierre Hotel in New York City. Honoring Emmy and Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth, the evening will include a one-night-only musical tribute performed by dozens of stars from the stage and screen. Designed by celebrity event planner Preston Bailey, the Gala supports the educational initiatives of The Drama League Directors Project.

Superstar Toby Keith will make his broadcast performance debut of 'Red Solo Cup' at the AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS, airing live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Monday, Dec. 5 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.

Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts will present the Arizona premiere of the international hit play Love, Loss, and What I Wore on Jan. 3-8, 2012. The show's Scottsdale cast will feature five actresses, including Loretta Swit, a star of the long-running television comedy M*A*S*H.

Last night, I spoke to two-time Tony-winner Katie Finneran all about her new Fox sitcom I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER, co-starring Jaime Pressly, which premiered yesterday at 9:30 PM. Additionally, Finneran and I discuss her recent role in the terrific live performance film adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's COMPANY, co-starring Neil Patrick Harris and Patti LuPone, and we also take a look back at her two Tony-winning Broadway roles from earlier this decade - the lauded Jeremy Sams revival of the comedy NOISES OFF, as well as Rob Ashford's revival of the Burt Bacharach/Hal David/Neil Simon PROMISES, PROMISES. Producer Daryl Roth announced today that Tony Award-winner Daisy Eagan (The Secret Garden) will join returning cast members Myra Lucretia Taylor (Wicked; Nine), Sonia Manzano (Maria on "Sesame Street") and Loretta Swit ('Hot Lips Houlihan' on "M*A*S*H") for the December cast of the Off Broadway hit Love, Loss, and What I Wore beginning Wednesday, December 7, 2011 (through Friday, December 30) at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43 Street). Following their Off Broadway run, the cast will launch the show's first national tour, which begins in Scottsdale, Arizona at the Mesa Arts Center (January 2 - 8, 2012). Legendary country music group Alabama has been tapped to receive the Greatest Hits Award at the AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS, airing live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Monday, Dec. 5 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. The veteran band, which gave its farewell tour in 2003, also will perform during the broadcast. Additionally, AMERICAN IDOL winner Scotty McCreery has been added to the list of performers for the two-hour primetime special.
