Irish Arts Center Announces Spring 2018 Season

Spanning six decades, the career of Ramblin' Jack Elliott is still going strong. At 86, the lover of storytelling and veteran troubadour style musician still takes to the long and winding road on tour. Fresh from shows with John Prine in Northern California and Nevada, the two-time GRAMMY winner and National Medal for the Arts recipient will make his way through Texas and onto Louisiana in November.

On the personal invitation from President Obama, Brandi Carlile will join Aziz Ansari and Lena Waithe, Gloria Estefan, Andra Day, Nas, The National, Francis & the Lights, Chance the Rapper and more for a special concert and community event tonight at Chicago's Wintrust Arena.
