At the Connelly Theater (220 E. 4th St.), Soho Rep. and Ars Nova will present the New York premiere of Cesar Alvarez's Futurity, a new, avant-Americana musical with music by Alvarez and The Lisps, and lyrics and book by Alvarez. Omaha Performing Arts announces Dixie Longate will return to Omaha for another run of the hilarious Off-Broadway show Dixie's Tupperware Party June 2-5, 2016. Four performances of the interactive production will run at the Scott Recital Hall in the Holland Performing Arts Center: Thursday, June 2, at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, June 3, at 8 p.m.; Saturday, June 4, at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, June 5, at 2 p.m. The production's first successful run in Omaha in May 2015 kicked off with a sell-out opening night performance.
