Dixie's Tupperware Party, the hilarious show starring Dixie Longate which turned Off-Broadway into a Tupperware-mania celebration and garnered the prestigious 2008 Drama Desk Award Nomination, rolls into Omaha for a strictly limited engagement of four performances beginning May 28, 2015. Written by Kris Andersson, the production is playing at the Scott Recital Hall in the Holland Performing Arts Center as part of its sixth smash season on national tour. Omaha Performing Arts presents the theatrical comedy May 28-30. Performances are Thursday, May 28, at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, May 29, at 8 p.m.; and Saturday, May 30, at 2 and 8 p.m. Tickets are $35 in advance and $45 the day of the show, and are available at TicketOmaha.com, 402.345.0606 or at the Ticket Omaha Office inside the Holland Center, 1200 Douglas St. This production contains adult content.

Dixie's Tupperware Party stars Dixie Longate as the fast-talking Tupperware Lady who has packed up her catalogues and left her children in an Alabama trailer park to journey across America. Critics and audiences have howled with laughter as Dixie throws a good ol' fashioned Tupperware Party filled with outrageously funny tales, heartfelt accounts, FREE giveaways, audience participation and the most fabulous assortment of Tupperware ever sold on a theater stage! Loaded with the most up-to-date products available for purchase, Dixie will share how she became a member of the illustrious "No. 1 Tupperware Seller in the World" Club, as she educates her guests on the many alternative uses she has discovered for her plastic products.
