After a recent sold-out stint at The Laurie Beechman Theater, "The Joe Iconis Rock and Roll Jamboree" is coming to Joe's Pub on February 11 at 9:30PM.

In addition to previously announced Special Guest Kirsten Wyatt (of the current revival of Grease), the Jamboree will also welcome John Gallagher Jr. (Spring Awakening) to take part in the festivities.  Katrina Rose Dideriksen (Jerry Springer The Opera), Krysta Rodriguez (Spring Awakening, A Chorus Line), Jason "SweetTooth" Williams and Lance Rubin (The Black Suits), and the incendiary Kissin' Kazoo Sisters are among the already-announced cast members.

Newly Blacklisted writer Joe Iconis returns to the Joe's Pub bringing with him his merry band of musical theater punks. "The Joe Iconis Rock and Roll Jamboree" is a laid-back evening of Iconis tunes, featuring cuts from Joe's recently-orphaned musical "The Black Suits," and a bunch of new songs. Songs of hate and hope, suburbia and pornography, cougars and jailbait, dead people and livin' things and more sing-alongs than you can shake a glass of whiskey at. Some special guests will join Joe for this, the second leg of his legendary "Mule Revolution" Tour 2008. So come on down to the Jamboree- it's loud, soft, sweet, nasty, and, above all else, bloody as hell.

The cast includes Iconis-regulars Liz Lark Brown, Katrina Dideriksen, Matt Hinkley, Ian Kagey, Lauren Marcus, Krysta Rodriguez, Lance Rubin, Brent Stranathan, Jared Weiss, Jason "SweetTooth" Williams, and The Kissin' Kazoo Sisters.

Iconis, who got his MFA from the NYU/Tisch Graduate Musical Theater Writing Program, is the recipient of a 2007 Ed Kleban Award, a 2006 Jonathan Larson Award, and is the Composer In Residence at Ars Nova.  Joe is the author of the garage-band rock musical, The Black Suits (book co-written with Robert Maddock), The Plant That Ate Dirty Socks (for TheatreWorksUSA, opening at the Lucille Lortel in July), The Mini-Musical Triple Feature (Ars Nova) and "Things to Ruin: The Songs of Joe Iconis" (Joe's Pub, Ars Nova.)  He believes in loyalty and art and has a thing for cougars.

Joe's Pub at The Public Theater is located at 425 Lafayette St. NYC.  Tickets are $15 and can be purchased by phone at (212) 967-7555, on line at www.joespub.com, or in person at the Public Theater Box Office (from 1pm to 6pm), or Joe's Pub (from 6pm to 10pm.)
