The Broadway cast of Grease will perform nationally on ABC'S "Good Morning America" Monday, October 29, 2007 between the 8-9AM hour.  The show, which opened on August 19, 2007, began preview performances on Broadway at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 W. 47th St.) on July 24.   "GMA" airs in New York City on WABC channel 7.

Max Crumm (Danny Zuko) and Laura Osnes (Sandy Dumbrowski) will lead the cast in a performance of "You're the One That I Want," one of four songs from the smash hit 1978 motion picture heard for the first time ever on Broadway in the new production of Grease.  "You're the One That I Want" was released as a single in 1978 and enjoyed a week as #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and sold more than 2 million copies.  Other songs from the film included in the Broadway show are "Sandy," "Hopelessly Devoted to You" and "Grease."  These songs are heard in addition to the Jacobs/Casey songs made famous by the original stage production including "Summer Nights," "Greased Lightnin'" and "We Go Together."

Joining Max Crumm as "Danny" and Laura Osnes as "Sandy" in the new production of Grease are Ryan Patrick Binder as "Doody," Susan Blommaert as "Miss Lynch," Jeb Brown as "Vince," Stephen R. Buntrock as "Teen Angel," Daniel Everidge as "Roger," Allison Fischer as "Patty," Robyn Hurder as "Marty," Lindsay Mendez as "Jan," Jenny Powers as "Rizzo," Jose Restrepo as "Sonny," Matthew Saldivar as "Kenickie," Jamison Scott as "Eugene" and Kirsten Wyatt as "Frenchy."  The ensemble of Grease features Josh Franklin, Cody Green, Natalie Hill ("Cha-Cha"), Matthew Hydzik, Emily Padgett, Keven Quillon, Brian Sears, Christina Sivrich, Amber Stone and Anna Aimee White.

Directed and choreographed by two time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall (The Pajama Game, Wonderful Town), Grease features scenic design by Tony Award nominee Derek McLane (The Pajama Game), costume design by two-time Tony Award winner Martin Pakledinaz (Thoroughly Modern Millie, Kiss Me Kate), lighting design by Tony Award winner Kenneth Posner (The Coast of Utopia, Wicked) and sound design by Brian Ronan (Spring Awakening, Curtains).

"After spending a hopelessly devoted summer with Sandy Dumbrowski (Osnes), the new girl in town, Danny Zuko's (Crumm) world is thrown upside down when Sandy appears at Rydell High on the first day of school. What follows is a rock n' roll celebration of growin' up, cruisin' with friends and goin' steady," explain press notes.
