Great Apes is a new play by Patrick Marmion directed by RSC and Donmar actor Oscar Pearce (Wolf Hall, Real Thing), based on the novel by Will Self opening at the Arcola Theatre on Monday 19th March. Confirming earlier reports that Chichester Festival Theatre's GYPSY, starring Imelda Staunton as 'Mama Rose', would debut in the West End this spring, the Daily Mail writes that the musical will officially bow on March 30 and run through November 28, 2015 at the Savoy Theatre. According to the Daily Mail, Kevin Whately and Lara Pulver are in talks to join the cast of GYPSY, led by Imelda Staunton as Rose at the Chichester Festival Theatre this October.
