AMC Sets Premiere Dates for FEAR THE WALKING Season 2 & More

AMC announced today from the Television Critics Association (TCA) Press Tour the network's 2016 spring premiere dates for new and returning original series. For the first time ever, AMC will launch a fourth night of original programming on Tuesdays beginning this April with the debut of the highly anticipated miniseries event “The Night Manager.” Last year, AMC became home to the top four cable series launches of all time among adults 18-49 in live+3 ratings, with “Fear the Walking Dead” at #1, “Better Call Saul” at #2, “Into the Badlands” at #3 and “The Walking Dead” at #4.
AMC Renews TURN: WASHINGTON'S SPIES for Third Season

AMC today announced that “TURN: Washington's Spies” has been renewed for a third season of 10 episodes to air in 2016. The Revolutionary War period drama delivered an average of 1.6 million viewers in its second season and helped open up a new night of original programming for AMC on Monday, along with “Better Call Saul” and “The Making of The Mob: New York.”

AMC announced today that the network's historical spy drama “TURN: Washington's Spies” will shift to Monday nights for its second season and premiere on Monday, April 13 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT with a special two-hour episode. The series will then move to Monday at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT for the remainder of the season. The move continues the network's original programming expansion into Monday nights that began earlier this month with the premiere of “Better Call Saul.”

Production has commenced on location in Australia on Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer Films' epic comedy adventure “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales,” directed by Espen Sandberg & Joachim Rønning (“Kon-Tiki”), the fifth entry in the blockbuster franchise inspired by the classic Disney Theme Parks attraction, which has reaped $3.7 billion in worldwide box office. “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” will film entirely at Village Roadshow Studios and on locations within Queensland, Australia.
