The Lion King, Detroit's most eagerly awaited stage production ever will leap onto the Detroit Opera House stage from January 27 - February 20, 2022.

Disney’s The Lion King North American tour released two new production photos today of Darian Sanders (Simba) and Kayla Cyphers (Nala). 

The Lion King North American touring company reunited in Cleveland on September 7, for the first time since the shutdown, to begin rehearsals for the tour’s relaunch. The tour is resuming performances at the KeyBank State Theatre for a two-week return engagement beginning Friday, October 1 and playing through Friday, October 15, 2021.

Disney Theatrical Productions, under the direction of Thomas Schumacher, and Playhouse Square have announced casting for The Lion King North American tour, which will return to the road this fall and resume performances in Cleveland. The two-week return engagement at Playhouse Square will begin Friday, October 1, 2021.

The national tour of THE LION KING returns to kick off the 10th Broadway In Boston season at the Boston Opera House, most fittingly as the musical reopened the venue following its historic renovation in 2004. Some of the effects have diminished over the years, but the opening night audience roared its approval.

Blind Tiger is proud to present a showing of Abe Abraham's 'Wind and Tree,' a 3-screen dance-video installation featuring 18 dancers, starring Bessie Award winning dancer Megumi Eda. The 45-minute film is set to JT Bullit's seismographic recordings of the Earth's vibrations and Morton Feldman's Triadic Memories, and is inspired by Pulitzer Prize-winning Irish poet Paul Muldoon's poem of the same name. The landmark musical will return to Los Angeles for the first time since its triumphant return engagement in November 2006, where the production played a sold-out run at Hollywood Pantages.
