BroadwayWorld has just learned that Cirque du Soleil Theatrical has announced casting for Cirque du Soleil -PARAMOUR, the organization's first production created specifically for Broadway. Joining previously announced Ruby Lewis as Indigo, the poetess; is Bradley Dean as A.J., the director; and Ryan Vona as Joey, the composer.
Hypnotic and gorgeous from start to finish, Cirque du Soleil's thrilling IRIS: A JOURNEY THROUGH THE WORLD OF CINEMA turns celluloid beauty into living stage art. It is arguably the Montreal-based troupe's most artistic rendering of a single thematic motif to date, and is absolutely the perfect show to call the Kodak Theatre home. With plans to have the show be a decade-long permanent fixture at this Hollywood venue--specifically built to serve as the permanent home of the Annual Academy Awards ceremony--audiences will have plenty of chances to see this rousing, entertaining show.
