As the kick-off to this year's highly anticipated a?oe2019 American Music Awards,a?? chart-topping artist and AMA nominee Ella Mai today announced the a?oe2019 American Music Awardsa?? nominees in four categories LIVE on ABC's a?oeGood Morning America,a?? followed by additional nominees announced via the AMAs social media accounts. Rounding out the morning, Mai also announced nominees via Billboard Magazine's social media platforms. The a?oe2019 American Music Awardsa?? will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, Nov. 24, at 8:00 p.m. EST on ABC.

CMT has announced the 70th episode taping of its critically-acclaimed music series a?oeCMT Crossroads,a?? featuring global superstars Halsey & Kelsea Ballerini. The two will take the stage together for the first time ever during a special, open-to-the-public taping of a?oeCMT Crossroadsa?? at the Ascend Amphitheater in downtown Nashville on Friday, October 11. The episode will premiere on CMT in early 2020.

CMT has announced that Ashley McBryde will receive the “Breakout Artist of the Year” award and will perform live at this year's “CMT Artists of the Year” event. This marks the third time in event history this honor will be bestowed with the GRAMMY-nominated McBryde joining the ranks of previous honorees Chris Stapleton (2015) and Kelsea Ballerini (2016). The 10th annual “Artists of the Year” celebration will air LIVE from Nashville's Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Wednesday, October 16 at 8pm ET/PT on CMT. 

Country music superstar, Brad Paisley, is set to host and executive produce a?oeBrad Paisley Thinks He's Special,a?? an hour-long prime-time special set to air on ABC later this season from Sony Pictures Television. The variety special will showcase the energy of Music City from Nashville's iconic War Memorial Auditorium through a combination of Paisley's signature humor, unexpected surprises, heartfelt field pieces and rousing musical performances. 

NBC has renewed the hit songwriting competition series “Songland” for a second season.

Today, E! announced the commencement of voting for the 2019 “E! People's Choice Awards,” celebrating all forms of entertainment, chosen entirely by the people.  Starting with the fan nomination week back in August, E! engaged fans worldwide to submit their favorites in the various categories. Now it's time for them to select their choice from the eight nominees to determine the winner in each category representing movies, television, music and pop culture.

The Country Music Association has announced the final nominees for a?oeThe 53rd Annual CMA Awards,a?? as Maren Morris tops the list of finalists with six nominations. Brothers Osborne receives four nominations, the second most nominations this year, while 11 garner three nominations eacha?"Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, Scott Hendricks, Dann Huff, Greg Kurstin, Kacey Musgraves, Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton and Carrie Underwood. For the night's highest honor, reigning Entertainer of the Year Keith Urban is nominated again in the category alongside Garth Brooks, Eric Church, Chris Stapleton and Underwood. 

Trevor Rosen, hit songwriter and founding member of ACM and CMA Vocal Group of the Year, Old Dominion, has signed a worldwide publishing agreement with Twelve6 Entertainment. The deal includes publishing on Rosen's existing catalog of hits in addition to his new compositions going forward.

Warner Music Nashville recording artist Gabby Barrett has been named Radio Disney's NBT (Next Big Thing), it was announced today. NBT is a multiplatform talent program that puts the spotlight on breakout artists and showcases their journey to success. The country singer will be featured in a series of exclusive NBT videos across Radio Disney, Disney Channel, the Radio Disney app, the DisneyNOW app and social media platforms.
