David Greenspan's I'M LOOKING FOR HELEN TWELVETREES Debuts at Abrons Arts Center, Now thru 4/4

Abrons Arts Center continues its 100th anniversary celebration of The Playhouse with the world premiere of five-time OBIE recipient David Greenspan's I'm Looking for Helen Twelvetrees. For over three decades, Greenspan has been omnipresent on New York City stages, from Bushwick to Broadway, and is beloved for his magnetic performances and his richly theatrical writing style. The New York Times has called Greenspan, 'a theatrical conjurer of rare gifts,' and fellow writer Tony Kushner considers him 'all-round the most talented theater artist of [his] generation.'

Animus Theatre Company is pleased to announce that acclaimed film, television and stage star Alexis Bledel has joined the lineup for Leslye Headland's Sin Cycle Plays (Assistance; Bachelorette; Cinephilia; Reverb; Surfer Girl; and The Accidental Blonde), their 2014 Reading Festival series in association with Circle in the Square Professional Workshop, on Monday, November 17, at Broadway's Circle in the Square Theatre. Bledel will read the role of Veronica in The Accidental Blonde.

Keen Company's 15th Season to Feature Kathleen Chalfant in A WALK IN THE WOODS and Revival of JOHN & JEN

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company today announced that their 2014 - '15 season will begin with the first major New York revival of Lee Blessing's A Walk In The Woods starring Kathleen Chalfant and Paul Niebanck, directed by Keen Artistic Director Jonathan Silverstein. It will be followed in the spring by a rare revival of John & Jen, the musical with music by Andrew Lippa, lyrics by Tom Greenwald, and a book by Lippa and Greenwald.

Sundance Institute Selects Acting Company and Creative Advisors for 2014 THEATRE LAB

Sundance Institute today announced the acting company and creative advisors that are participating in its 2014 Theatre Lab, which is now taking place and runs through July 27 at the Sundance Resort in Utah. The Lab is the centerpiece of the Institute's year-round work with the theatre community and is one of 10 residential Labs hosted by Sundance Institute this summer, collectively representing 15 weeks of residency support and mentorship for the most promising new independent theatre and film projects from the United States and around the world.

Former New York Yankee Willie Randolph attended this Saturday evening's performance of Bronx Bombers. Randolph, who was the second baseman for the New York Yankees from 1976 - 1988, and served as team captain from 1986 - 1988, embraced the cast after the show, exclaiming 'I love this show, these are my guys!'
