JOE, a New York Romantic Comedy, to Premiere at Sedona International Film Festival

The upcoming short/pilot romantic comedy, "JOE" will make its world premiere at The 24th Annual Sedona International Film Festival. The film follows Jillian a girl who was recently fired from corporate America in her new job as a barista. Jillian meets the man of her dreams, Joe on the street, but instinctively lies about what she does for a living. Turns out his favorite coffee shop is where she works.

Full casting has been announced for SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical on Broadway and rehearsals begin today, February 12. As previously announced, the three actresses who will play the role of musical icon Donna Summer will be Tony Award winner LaChanze (The Color Purple, Once on This Island) as 'Diva Donna,' Ariana DeBose (A Bronx Tale, Hamilton) as 'Disco Donna' and Storm Lever (Freaky Friday) as 'Duckling Donna.'

MC Theatrical Productions has announced that Gary Troy has joined the cast of COME LIGHT MY CIGARETTE, a suspenseful new musical written and directed by Arnold L. Cohen, with music direction by Mason Griffin, August 8th - September 3rd at the Theatre at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street). Mr. Troy has taken over the role of the father, Kevin, previously held by Michael J. Farina.

Broadway triple threat Jeremy Benton adds the role of 'developing director' to his already laudable resume when he stages an upcoming industry reading of the new musical, Sweet Swing!, in New York City next week. Benton directs and choreographs the six-person musical, which has book and music by Diane Tauser (Notre Dame de Paris and Stone Cold Beauty), and tells the real story of a wartime romance during World War Two.
