New Musical COME LIGHT MY CIGARETTE Comes to Theater at St. Clement's Tonight

MC Theatrical Productions has announced that it will present COME LIGHT MY CIGARETTE, a suspenseful new musical written and directed by Arnold L. Cohen, with music direction by Mason Griffin, now through September 3rd at the Theatre at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street). The official opening will be tonight, August 17th at 7PM.

COME LIGHT MY CIGARETTE is an edgy and suspenseful new musical that tells the story of a young actress, driven to confront the two most turbulent relations in her life: Her father, with whom she shares a volatile and shameful past and her ex-lover, a powerful and controlling woman who was instrumental in making her a success.

The cast of COME LIGHT MY CIGARETTE features Michael J. Farina, Kaye Tuckerman, and Erikka Walsh.

Mason Griffin (Music Director) is a musical theater accompanist, coach, conductor, and music director. In New York, he has performed and played for LaGuardia High School, Amas Musical Theatre, MTCA, BKA, The New York Film Academy, Applause NY, Broadway Classroom, The West End, NYU, City College of New York, Sing for Your Seniors, and The United Nations International School. He is the music director of the current Off-Broadway production of Naked Boys Singing. As music director and/or pianist, highlight shows include: RENT, Les Miserables, The Addams Family, Spelling Bee, A Funny Thing...Forum, Little Shop of Horrors, I Love a Piano, and Dreamgirls. A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Mason was the guest conductor of Louisiana State University's annual spring musical theater showcase Singo de Mayo for six years.

Cesa Entertainment (Executive Producer) is a Broadway producing & general management company that's past projects include: Pippin (Tony Award), Colin Quinn Long Story Short (directed by Jerry Seinfeld), Carrie Fisher's Wishful Drinking, Kiki & Herb: Alive on Broadway (Tony Award nom), Lombardi, Godspell. West End: Hair. Off-Broadway producing and general management: Nothing to Hide (directed by Neil Patrick Harris), Bullet for Adolf (written & directed by Woody Harrelson); CELIA: The Life & Music of Celia Cruz; La Barberia; Los Big Names (Drama Desk nom), The Women of Lockerbie (starring Judith Ivey); 21 Dog Years; Love, Janis; Love Child; Criss Angel Mindfreak and many more.

The COME LIGHT MY CIGARETTE creative team includes scenic and costume design by Craig Napoliello, and lighting design by Ross Graham. Executive Producer is Cesa Entertainment.

Performances of COME LIGHT MY CIGARETTE are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays at 7PM, Fridays at 8PM, Saturdays at 2PM & 8PM, and Sundays at 3PM. The first preview is August 8th.
