COME LIGHT MY CIGARETTE Starring Erikka Walsh Preps for Previews

MC Theatrical Productions will begin previews of COME LIGHT MY CIGARETTE, a suspenseful new musical featuring Erikka Walsh, Michael J. Farina and Kaye Tuckerman, written and directed by Arnold L. Cohen, with music direction by Mason Griffin, August 8th - September 3rd at the Theatre at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street). The official opening will be on August 17th at 7PM.

COME LIGHT MY CIGARETTE is an edgy and suspenseful new musical that tells the story of a young actress, driven to confront the two most turbulent relations in her life: Her father, with whom she shares a volatile and shameful past and her ex-lover, a powerful and controlling woman who was instrumental in making her a success.

Mason Griffin (Music Director) is a musical theater accompanist, coach, conductor, and music director. In New York, he has performed and played for LaGuardia High School, Amas Musical Theatre, MTCA, BKA, The New York Film Academy, Applause NY, Broadway Classroom, The West End, NYU, City College of New York, Sing for Your Seniors, and The United Nations International School. He is the music director of the current Off-Broadway production of Naked Boys Singing. As music director and/or pianist, highlight shows include: RENT, Les Miserables, The Addams Family, Spelling Bee, A Funny Thing...Forum, Little Shop of Horrors, I Love a Piano, and Dreamgirls. A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Mason was the guest conductor of Louisiana State University's annual spring musical theater showcase Singo de Mayo for six years.

Performances of COME LIGHT MY CIGARETTE are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays at 7PM, Fridays at 8PM, Saturdays at 2PM & 8PM, and Sundays at 3PM. The first preview is August 8th. Opening night is August 17th and the show runs through September 3rd.
