Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater has announced casting for a new version of the Tony-nominated musical comedy Catch Me If You Can.

Additional cast members include Eric Wiegand (Plaza Suite), Kelly Krauter (Waitress 2nd National Tour), Sarah-Anne Martinez (Blue Bloods), Christina Barnes (Frankenstein), Kyle Caress (Cinderella National Tour), Jenn Maurer (Elf the Musical National Tour), Sophie Miller, Jack Ducat and Jake Letts.

A short film adaptation of the play Stalking the Bogeyman is underway, starring Tony Award winner Santino Fontana and Tony Award nominee Thomas Sadoski. The project is currently in production, with distribution plans to be announced.

As part of an ongoing commitment to serve the community, Baltimore Center Stage has announced that it has made the difficult but necessary decision to postpone Bakkhai, by Euripides, adapted by Anne Carson and directed by Mike Donahue. The production, which features original music by Diana Oh, and choreography by Willia Noel Montague was set to close the 2019/20 Season in May. It will now open the 2021/22 Season in September 2021.

Bridge to Broadway, an online training platform matches musical theatre up-and-comers with seasoned Broadway professionals. 

A sold out crowd at Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, PA enjoyed a benefit reading of George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart's “The Man Who Came to Dinner,” this past Wednesday, February 5. Marsha Mason directed the reading. A reception with the cast was held at The Deck Restaurant and Bar at the Playhouse.

Cherry Lane Theatre concludes their season with the World Premiere of ORIGINAL SOUND, by Adam Seidel, directed by Elena Araoz with music direction by Daniel Ocanto. ORIGINAL SOUND will begin performances on Tuesday, April 30 run through June 8, 2019, and will celebrate its opening night tonight, May 9, 2019

An industry presentation of RE-WIRE will be held on Thursday, May 9th at 3pm & 7pm in New York City. RE-WIRE is a new play written by Thomas and Judy Heath, under the direction of Karen Carpenter (Love, Loss & What I wore), and starring Geneva Carr (Hand to God, Bull) & Stephen Wallem (Nurse Jackie).
