A VERY HEATHERS PROM Celebrates Cast Album Release Tonight at New World Stages

Producers of Heathers: The Musical, the new smash-hit musical stage adaptation of Daniel Waters' iconic 1989 dark comedy film, will host A VERY HEATHERS PROM immediately following the performance tonight, June 18, from 10:30PM-2:00AM at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) in New York City. The Prom celebrates the release of the show's World Premiere Cast Recording on Yellow Sound Label, available now for digital download on iTunes, and in stores as of yesterday, June 17.

Written by Olivier Award winner and Tony Award nominee Laurence O'Keefe (Legally Blonde, Bat Boy) and Emmy Award winner Kevin Murphy (Reefer Madness, "Defiance", "Desperate Housewives"), HEATHERS: THE MUSICAL opened on Monday, March 31, 2014 - the 25th Anniversary of the film's release - at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) in New York City.

The 35th annual Mississippi Picnic, held yesterday in New York in Central Park, had something for everyone. Alexis Brown (Madison) is a former special assistant and events coordinator at the Mississippi Development Authority and state coordinator for the picnic since 1992 and she once again had a wonderful event planned out for New York City. Governor Phil Bryant and his wife Deborah were there to support the event.
