Kathryn Rossetter to Join Adam LeFevre in MR. LANDING TAKES A FALL, Begin. 9/12

Kathryn Rossetter, who appeared on Broadway opposite Dustin Hoffman in Death Of a Salesman and is currently head of the MFA Acting Program at the New School for Drama, will join Adam LeFevre (Broadway's Footloose, Mamma Mia, Guys and Dolls) in the World Premiere of MR. LANDING TAKES A FALL, an absurdist comedy by Sari Caine. Inspired by Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, the play was a PlayPenn 2013 semi-finalist and short-listed for both the 24/7 (UK) and the Ronald Duncan Award (UK). It is produced by Slightly Altered States Theater Company and directed by Sherri Eden Barber. Previews begin September 12 at The Flea Theater with opening slated for Monday, September 22.

Lynn Cohen, John Wernke & More Set for ESPA Drills Reading Series, 8/18-19

Primary Stages Einhorn School of Performing Arts has announced casting for its ESPA Drills Reading Series this August. ESPA Drills is an annual new play development program providing staged readings to four playwrights. The plays are workshopped under the guidance of the ESPA staff and will be presented before an audience of industry peers Off-Broadway at The Duke on 42nd Street.

PTP/NYC kicked off its 28th anniversary season at The Atlantic Stage 2 on July 16 at The Maritime Hotel in NYC. This season's Off-Broadway line-up includes the U.S. Premiere of Howard Barker's Gertrude - The Cry, directed by PTP's Co-Artistic Director Richard Romagnoli, and a revival of David Edgar's Pentecost, directed by PTP's Co-Artistic Director Cheryl Faraone. Jerry Ruiz (Love Goes to Press, Basilica) directs a cast that includes Cliff Bemis, Teddy Bergman, Bernardo Cubria, Carole Healey, Christine Toy Johnson, Kathryn Kates (replacing the previously announced Jennifer Harmon), Natalie Kuhn, Brian MacDonald, Jennifer McVey and Rachel Moulton. Philip Goes Forth will have scenic design by Steven C. Kemp, costume design by Carisa Kelly, lighting design by Christian DeAngelis, and sound design by Toby Algya. Performances began on August 24th and continue through October 20th. Opening Night is set for tonight, September 22nd at Mint's home (311 West 43rd Street). Rosalind Productions Inc.'s Off-Broadway premiere of Jennifer Maisel's The Last Seder ends its extended, acclaimed run Sunday January 13th. This Off-Broadway limited engagement at Theater Three (311 West 43rd Street) began December 1st. The show runs 100 minutes without an intermission.
