Pascal Rioult's RIOULT Dance NY announces its Centered On The Future 2018 Winter Gala to be held on Wednesday February 28, 2018 at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers – Pier 61 a 6:30pm. This year's Gala will honor Joseph W. Armbrust, Kaufman Astoria Studios, and Steinway & Sons. The Gala Co-Chairs are John A. MacKinnon and Harsha Murthy. Long-time friends of the company, actress Kathleen Turner, will speak and offer a special rendition of It's Only A Paper Moon, and Tony nominated Christine Andreas will sing Hymne a L'Amour reprising her 2015 collaboration with RIOULT. The Gala will feature dance performances, an auction, a gourmet dinner, followed by a DJ and dancing.

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) presents their popular Writer-Producer Speed Date on Sunday, March 4, 2018. In deference to Oscar night, the event will start one hour earlier than usual: from 4:30pm - 8:00pm at NOLA Rehearsal Studio, 244 W 54th St., 11th floor.

An evening of song and swing awaits local music lovers as Philadelphia Theatre Company presents "The Summer Club: A Big Band Valentine's Day." Cupid shoots his arrow down music's memory lane this February 14th as audiences are transported to an era when clubs were hot, everyone dressed up and martinis came straight up. Take the Lead Dance Project will have everyone swinging in the aisles with free dance lessons before the show. Champagne cocktails will be pouring at the bar and Asher's Chocolates will provide a sweet treat to remember the night. This one-night only event takes place at Philadelphia Theatre Company at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre (480 S. Broad). Doors open at 6:00pm, with showtime at 7:00pm. Stage and screen icon Kathleen Turner makes her Cafe Carlyle debut with Finding My Voice, May 22-June 2. In Finding My Voice, Turner lends her trademark husky voice to classic songs from the Great American Songbook and shares personal anecdotes and stories from her celebrated career.

MCC THEATER has announced an all-star lineup of performers for their annual Miscast gala. Performers will include: Grammy and Tony Award nominee Sara Bareilles; Tony Award winners Jayne Houdyshell and James Monroe Iglehart; Tony Award nominees Ra l Esparza, Robert Fairchild, and Keala Settle; plus Hamilton star and reigning Dancing With the Stars champion Jordan Fisher, The Band's Visit star Katrina Lenk, Once on This Island star Alex Newell, and the voice of Moana, Auli'I Cravalho. Love Letters centers on two characters, Melissa Gardner & Andrew Makepeace Ladd III, as they sit at tables side by side to read the notes, letters and cards they've wrote to each other over the course of 50 years. Within the letters, the two characters discuss their hopes and ambitions, dreams and disappointments, victories and defeats that have passed between them throughout their separated lives.

George Street Playhouse, now located at 103 College Farm Road in New Brunswick, announced today that Playhouse favorites John Bolger (last season's American Son, 2014's Outside Mullingar) and Armand Schultz (The Spitfire Grill, Jolson Sings Again), as well as Broadway's Kally Duling (Fun Home) and Laiona Michelle (Amazing Grace) have been cast in Christopher Demos-Brown's gripping military drama American Hero, on stage January 30 through February 25.

Geva Theatre Center's 2017-2018 Fielding Studio Series continues with Erma Bombeck: At Wit's End by Allison Engel and Margaret Engel. This production stars Pam Sherman and is directed by Mark Cuddy. The production begins performances on January 25 and runs in the Fielding Stage through February 18.
