Good Theater to Stage Maine Premiere of SHEAR MADNESS

SHEAR MADNESS, the longest running play in the United States, makes it Maine debut this winter presented by Good Theater. The show opens January 27 and runs for eight weeks through March 20, at the St. Lawrence Arts Center, 76 Congress Street, Portland. Good Theater is the professional theater company in residence at the St. Lawrence.

Good Theater, the professional theater company in residence at the St. Lawrence Arts Center, kicks off its 14th season on September 23 with the original musical revue, NO BIZ LIKE SHOW BIZ. This show is a tribute to Mary Martin and Ethel Merman starring three singers: Marie Dittmer, Lynne McGhee and Jen Means.

Written and directed by Brian P. Allen and starring Lesley McKinnell, the seventy-five minute songfest takes the audience along on Streisand's journey from Brooklyn schoolgirl to Broadway, film, and recording star.
