New Georges will remount their critically acclaimed production of Kate Benson's A Beautiful Day in November on the Banks of the Greatest of the Great Lakes directed by Lee Sunday Evans in association with Women's Project Theater, January 12-February 7 at City Center Stage II (131 West 55th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues).

New Georges will present World Premiere productions by Kate Benson (2014 Clubbed Thumb Biennial Commission winner), Krista Knight (Salamander Leviathan at Joe's Pub; Clementine and the Cyber Ducks at Incubator Arts Project), and Caroline V. McGraw (2013 Page 73 Playwriting Fellow) as part of The New Georges Jam On Toast, a brand-new festival featuring work by The New Georges Jam, a 'performance gym' for early-career female playwrights and directors founded in 2010 by Lucy Alibar, Jess Chayes, and Portia Krieger.

Bridge Repertory Theater of Boston forges ahead with its ambitious first season with "Hello Again", a musical by Michael John LaChiusa. Opening in March at the Stanford Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts, "Hello Again" is the company's third production this season, coming after Stephen Jeffreys' epic period piece, "The Libertine", and the World Premiere of "not Jenny", by Boston playwright and Bridge Rep Artistic Associate, MJ Halberstadt. In choosing a musical, Bridge Rep continues to establish itself through a particular style, rather than a particular genre. Actors' Shakespeare Project (ASP) will open its 10th Anniversary Season with a new production of Shakespeare's universal and timeless love story Romeo & Juliet October 2 - November 3, 2013 (press performance October 5 at 8pm) at The Strand Theatre, 543 Columbia Road in Dorchester. Co-directed by ASP Resident Acting Company member Bobbie Steinbach and ASP Artistic Director Allyn Burrows, Romeo & Juliet will focus on fate of the two young lovers as it rests on the dramatic intersection of intransigence, revenge, and the clash of generations.

SUNFISH, an American musical by the songwriting team of Michael Cooper and Hyeyoung Kim was awarded the top Jury Honor for Music Theater Production at the Daegu International Musical Festival (DIMF) on July 8, 2013. DIMF is the largest international Musical Theatre Festival in the world. SUNFISH was invited to open the Festival on June 17, 2013, and was one of over fifteen Official Invitational productions from all over the world. It was previously presented at the NAMT Festival, TRU Musical Series, and Disney/ASCAP Workshop with Stephen Schwartz.
