Katharine McPhee - who originated the role of Jenna in the London production of Waitress - has recorded the show's hit ballad She Used To Be Mine which will be released as a single in the run up to her final performance on Saturday 15 June. First heard on Broadway, Sara Bareilles' showstopper has inspired countless covers by all sexes and ages across the world, performed by well-known theatrical stars and musicians to young viral sensations. The Peace Center has added three concerts to the schedule - Chanticleer, America, and David Foster with Special Guest Katharine McPhee.

Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) presents a full lineup of events for its 25th Anniversary season, ranging from world renowned headliners such as Tony Bennett and Audra McDonald to touring Broadway productions including RENT to the best in dance, comedy, classical, world music and family shows.

It is announced today that British television star Blake Harrison, best known for playing Neil Sutherland in the BAFTA-winning E4 comedy The Inbetweeners, will join the cast of Waitress as Ogie from 17 June. He will take over the role from Jack McBrayer, as previously seen as Kenneth in NBC's 30 Rock, who will mark his final performance on Saturday 15 June.

On 21 May, it was announced that Lucie Jones (Rent, Les Miserables, Legally Blonde, Girlfriends) and Ashley Roberts (The Pussycat Dolls, Strictly Come Dancing) will be joining the cast of Waitress, the hit musical by Sara Bareilles, from 17 June.

One of the most anticipated events of the season, the annual Hot Pink Party was hosted by the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) on Wednesday, May 15 at the Park Avenue Armory, raising $6 million for breast cancer research. This year's gala commemorated the incredible impact BCRF investigators have made on research since the organization's founding in 1993.

The next Waitress London Cast Album Karaoke Night has been confirmed for Wednesday 26 June - in partnership with Gay Times. Audience members who want to take part just need to sign up before that evening's show for the chance to sing one minute of any song from Waitress - live on stage at the Adelphi and accompanied by the show's musical director Katharine Woolley. Hosts and further details about the event will be announced in due course.

Last year Katherine McPhee and Leslie Odom Jr announced The Tony Awards nominees - and had a lot of fun doing it. McPhee notoriously was unable to pronounce 'SpongeBob Squarepants' during the nominations announcement.

Laura Baldwin, who plays Dawn in the show, will host the post-show event alongside actress Chizzy Akudolu (Holby City, Strictly Come Dancing) on Wednesday 8 May. Audience members can sign up before the show for the chance to sing one minute of any song from Waitress - live on stage at the Adelphi and accompanied by the show's musical director Katharine Woolley.

Andy Mientus, Declan Bennett, Victoria Hamilton-Barritt, Cedric Neal and John Partridge will star as Patrick, Dale, Inez, Willie and Buddy respectively in the European premiere of new LGBTQ+ musical THE VIEW UPSTAIRS, which runs from 18 July to 24 August at Soho Theatre, with a press night on Tuesday 23 July.

The next Waitress London Cast Album Karaoke Night has been confirmed for Wednesday 8 May. In partnership with WhatsOnStage, audience members who sign up before the show to sing a number from Waitress at the karaoke event will also be auditioning in front of a top West End casting director for the chance to win a cameo role - for one night only - in the smash hit musical.

Last weekend, the Olivier Awards were presented! Among performances included all of the musicals nominated in the Mastercard Best New Musical and Magic Radio Best Musical Revival categories: Caroline, Or Change; Come From Away; Company; Fun Home; The King And I; Six; and Tina - The Tina Turner Musical.
