Presented under the umbrella of the Festival for New American Musicals, as part of their First Look program, MMLJWW will be presented in a workshop/reading format, and is intended as a benefit for the American Foundation for Equal Rights, and the Festival for New American Musicals. Authors, and original stars David Hein and Irene Sankoff will be on hand to reprise their roles as themselves on August 19 and 20, 2012.
Rockwell: Table & Stage continues their "BROADWAY BARRE" monthly event where LA's vibrant musical theater community comes together to enjoy each other's company as well as perform familiar showtunes. Guided by the skilled hands of musicdirector, Christopher Lloyd Bratten, and hosted by Broadway's talented and funny Kate Pazakis this night is sure to be a fun and entertaining evening for every musical theater lover in LA. For the month of August, the event will include special guest co-host Barrett Foa (Broadway's Avenue Q and CBS's "NCIS:LA"). The evening is produced by Rockwell: Table & Stage Artistic Director Shane Scheel and Program Manager Ben Caron.
With the newly remodeled live music space nearing completion and innovative menus still being unveiled, Rockwell: Table & Stage continues their exciting summer long "Soft Opening" by presenting a reconditioned version of For The Record: John Hughes. Joining the creative team are Barrett Foa (NCIS: Los Angeles, Broadway's Avenue Q) and Chad Hodge (The Playboy Club) who have contributed a reinvented script that focuses the show around John Hughes seminal coming of age teen flicks.

Pazakis recently appeared in the First National Tour of Lincoln Center Theatre's Tony Winning Revival of South Pacific. Her solo album 'Unzipped: Live at the Zipper' was released on PS Classics. Pazakis will be filling in for Wendy Watson.
