Lance Horne Holds Concert for Release of First Things Last Songbook, 11/1

By:

The Coterie executive producers Amber Cassell & Julie Garnyé will present Emmy-winning composer/songwriter Lance Horne in concert on November 1.

Lance Horne's "First Things Last" Songbook Release Party will feature the composer on keys at The Coterie with an array of special guests for a night of firsts just in time for 11/1/11. Songs from Horne's first album and world premieres will feature vocal powerhouses Julie Garnyé, Kathryn Gallagher, Jennifer Malenke, Kate Pazakis, and welcome newcomer Taylor Geare (Dream House, Inception, Brothers).

Margaret Cho will share her new song, special guest composers Jeff Marx (Avenue Q) and Brian Graden (former President of Programming: MTV, VH-1, CMT, LOGO) will appear with material of their own, and Tracy Cox will appear in conjunction with LA Opera's Domingo-Thornton Young Artist Program to give a sneak peek from a new work by Horne and Neil Gaiman.

The night features first-time collaborations with JT Horenstein and EDGE dancers, fashion design by T Rains, and a new protestor-benefitting fragrance #OccupyWallStreet on sale by Black Phoenix Alchemy, and, of course, surprise guests.

Lance Horne's "First Things Last" Songbook Release Party will be held November1, 2011 at 8:30pm. Doors will open at 7pm for dinner. Advanced tickets are $15 and may be purchased in advance at www.thecoteriela.com. $20 tickets (cash or credit) will be available at the door 1 hour prior to showtime. $5 standing room tickets will be available at the bar in advance, $10 at the door (Must be 21+).
