Max McLean is president and artistic director of Fellowship for Performing Arts. They have a long history of producing theatre from a Christian worldview to engage a diverse audience. The weekend they bring Birmingham a captivating production of C.S.Lewis' Screwtape Letters. McLean shares insight with me into this ten year running production and his passion for blending faith and the arts.

THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS Begins Tonight at The Pearl Theatre

Fellowship For Performing Arts (FPA) (Artistic Director Max McLean) is proud to present the New York return of THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS, which begins performances tonight as the second show in FPA's inaugural 2015/2016 New York season at The Pearl Theatre (555 West 42nd Street). Based on the novel by C.S. Lewis and adapted for the stage by FPA Founder and Artistic Director Max McLean and Jeff Fiske, THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS will officially open on Wednesday, January 13 for a strictly limited run through Sunday, January 24.

Lewis novel about spiritual warfare from a demon's point of view, will be presented at the Alex Theatre, 216 North Brand Boulevard in Glendale, CA in a limited engagement on Saturday, January 15 at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday, January 16 at 3 p.m. with another performance just added due to popular demand on Sunday, January 16 at 7 p.m.
