Michelle Bouey might be a fairly new name in Toronto's performing arts scene, but the rising singer has already made an impact in the city. With a 2018-19 Banks Prize under her belt, Bouey returns to The Musical Stage Company for her second edition of UNCOVERED. The thirteenth show in the concert series focuses on the music of Stevie Wonder and Prince, and Bouey gave us the ins and outs of how a show like UNCOVERED comes together behind the scenes in an exclusive Q+A.

The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) is now accepting artist submissions for JUNOfest 2018, presented by CBC Music. The annual two-night music festival lineup is packed with performances by Canada's musical talent in venues throughout Vancouver on Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24 as part of JUNO Week 2018. This year's JUNOfest will be produced by MRG Concerts.

Albert Schultz, General Director of the Young Centre for the Performing Arts, today announced six new Resident Artists who will, for the next twenty-four months, call the Young Centre home: Ravi Jain actor, producer and artistic director; legendary Toronto poet Dennis Lee; theatre designer Ken MacKenzie; singer, percussionist and band leader Aline Morales; filmmaker and actor Charles Officer and pianist and conductor Gregory Oh.

The first night of Luminato culminated with a free dance party at Yonge Dundas Square featuring Sass Jordan, Melanie Fiona and Jully Black. Luminato continues until June 20th with loads more fun (and free) activities for the whole family.
