George Street Playhouse has a new home at the brand new NBPAC (New Brunswick Performing Arts Center) which also serves as the resident home for American Repertory Ballet, Crossroads Theatre Company and the Mason Gross School of the Arts.

Last Days of Summera?"a new musical based on the best-selling novel by Steve Klugera?"will kick off the landmark 2019/20 season at George Street Playhouse. This highly anticipated production, directed by Tony Award nominee Jeff Calhoun (Newsies on Broadway), will star Teal Wicks, following her performance as Lady Cher in Broadway's The Cher Show, and Bobby Conte Thornton, known for A Bronx Tale on Broadway.
Lyric's new grand-scale coproduction of Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim's masterpiece West Side Story opens tonight and features Broadway star Corey Cott as Tony and rising star Mikaela Bennett as Maria. Additional lead casting includes Brett Thiele (Riff),Amanda Castro (Anita), Manuel Stark Santos (Bernardo), and Adam Soniak (Action). Performances run through June 2, 2019 at the Lyric Opera House, 20 N. Wacker Drive, Chicago. Next up this summer at the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival (FLMTF) is Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn. The show runs August 1 through August 22 at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in Emerson Park.
Rodgers and Hammerstein's great American classic Oklahoma! bursts onto the Ogunquit Playhouse stage June 13 to July 7. The Playhouse is thrilled to create an exciting new production of this beloved classic as part of its 75th Anniversary since first opening on Broadway. This groundbreaking musical was Rodgers and Hammerstein's first collaboration, and in many ways their most innovative, having set standards for musical theatre that are still being followed today.
