The Southland Theatre Artists Goodwill Event (S.T.A.G.E.) Benefit titled Sondheim 5, took place June 18th at Beverly Hills' beautiful Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in benefit of AIDS Project Los Angeles.  The much anticipated event, was once again directed by David Galligan.  Michael Orland served as Musical Director, with Choreography by Lee Martino; and BroadwayWorld TV's own Michael Sterling was on hand to talk to the stars just prior to their first of two performances.

Hollywood's newest venue, Prospect Theatre, will revive Hollywood with an avant-garde take on theatre, music and fine-dining. ABC's 'The Fosters' Creator Bradley Bredeweg will premier his revamped rock musical, 'Romeo & Juliet: Love is a Battlefield Volume 2' and Executive Chef Kyle Schutte will kick-off opening weekend on Friday, July 1, and Saturday, July 2 at 8 p.m. at 1643 Cosmo St.

Coachella Valley performing arts fans who stay in town this summer will not be bored; there are many cabarets, staged readings, and full-fledged theatrical productions to keep everyone occupied.

Los Angeles, CA - Acclaimed actresses EGOT winner RITA MORENO, PIPER LAURIE with three Oscar nominations to her name, and JUNE SQUIBB, who received a 2014 Academy Award nomination for her performance in Nebraska, will be part of the 32nd annual Southland Theatre Artists Goodwill Event (STAGE), Sondheim No. 5, taking place on Saturday, June 18th at the beautiful Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.  Performances will be at 2:00pm and 8:00pm and benefit AIDS Project Los Angeles.

CVRep has undertaken something new -- a medium-sized musical comedy with a four-piece orchestra. The result of its production of A CLASS ACT, the story of A CHORUS LINE's lyricist, is an enjoyable evening of theatre, with fabulous dancing.

Musical Theatre Guild, the winner of the Los Angeles Drama Critic's Circle Margaret Harford Award for sustained excellence in the theatre, will continue their 20thAnniversary Season with the Broadway musical A CLASS ACT. The one-night-only concert will take place at Glendale's historic Alex Theatre on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at 7:00 PM.
