Glenn Close will be honored by Museum of the Moving Image at its 32nd annual Salute on December 3, 2018 at 583 Park Ave. in New York. The news was announced today by Ivan L. Lustig, Co-Chairman of the Museum's Board of Trustees and Carl Goodman, the Museum's Executive Director.

Works & Process at the Guggenheim is pleased to announce its fall 2018 season, which includes new dance and music commissions, and a gala featuring a revival performance of a Works & Process Rotunda Project in the Guggenheim's iconic Frank Lloyd Wright-designed space. Since 1984 the performing-arts series has championed new works and offered audiences unprecedented access to leading choreographers, composers, dancers, musicians, and playwrights, among others. Bell with book by Buddy Farmer, music by Michael Mahler and lyrics by David H. Bell and Michael Mahler. The uplifting musical comedy "Freckleface Strawberry The Musical" will light up Upper Darby Summer Stage. Based on the bestselling book written by actress Julianne Moore, "Freckleface Strawberry" features toe-tapping songs and dances and explores important lessons such as embracing one's differences. Performances are July 25, 26, and 27 at 10:30 a.m. and on July 26 at 7:30 p.m. at the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center.
