The list of nominees has been announced for this year's UK Theatre Awards, the only nationwide awards to honour and celebrate outstanding achievements in theatre throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Voting has begun to find the UK's Most Welcoming Theatre in 2018, sponsored by Theatre Tokens, and Darlington Hippodrome is in the running.

Public voting has begun today (7 August) to find the UK's Most Welcoming Theatre 2018, ahead of the annual UK Theatre Awards. Votes can be cast at uktheatre.org/vote until 12:00 on Tuesday 18 September 2018, giving audiences across the country the chance to celebrate their local theatre and its impact on the community.
