The School of American Ballet announces the 2013 Winter Ball: A Night in the Far East at Lincoln Center's David H. Koch Theater on Monday, March 11, 2013. Cocktails begin at 7pm and dinner will commence at 8pm, followed by The Encore dessert and dancing at 9pm. Attire is black tie.
Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC) will present por instantes, a Barcelona-based performance group led by choreographer Julia Koch and theater director Daniel Zippi, Thursday through Saturday (7:30PM) and Sunday (2PM), June 14-17 in BAC's Howard Gilman Performance Space. For this, the company's U.S. debut, por instantes will perform the U.S. Premiere of La Travesia (2011), a work developed in residence at BAC in which music, movement, and text are combined to create dance theater episodes from passing moments at an urban intersection.

The Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC) ihas announced the spring 2012 performance season, which runs January 12 to June 17 and features a dynamic roster of international artists from the worlds of theater, dance, music, and film. The program includes several New York, U.S., and World Premieres, works developed in residence at BAC, and presentations made especially to be performed on BAC's stages.
