Manhattan Theatre Club will "Trans Visibility in the Theatre," a panel directly following the Sunday, November 4th matinee of The Nap. Come to an open discussion about increasing trans presence in the theatre, with panelists including Alexandra Billings (The Nap, "Transparent"), Kate Bornstein (Straight White Men, "I Am Cait"), Will Davis (India Pale Ale, Men On Boats), Alexa Fogel ("Pose" Casting Director), Bianca Leigh (The Nap, Transamerica), and Marquise Vilson (Charm). They will discuss how the arts industry can sustain and further the current push for greater trans presence and representation.

The Dramatists Guild of America and The Lillys are pleased to announce the second installment of The Count, a follow-up to the study released in 2015.  The Count has been a game-changer in the conversation about parity, contributing to recently documented upturns in the numbers of plays by women and writers of color produced on U.S. stages. Today, The 24 Hour Plays announced that they will bring The 24 Hour Musicals to Broadway for the first time. The evening, which is in partnership with The Lillys, will pay homage to the women who are changing the landscape of American Theatre. The 24 Hour Musicals will take place on Monday, October 29th at 8:00 PM at the American Airlines Theatre in Times Square.

Michael Feinstein and the Pasadena POPS close out their popular outdoor summer concert series at the Los Angeles County Arboretum on Saturday, September 8 with Broadway Goes to the Movies. The POPS season finale will provide a quintessential Feinstein experience with some of Broadway's greatest performers recreating songs from hit shows that traveled from 42nd St. to Hollywood. In collaboration with Ghiberti Foundation at Grace Cathedral, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (YBCA) is pleased to present Requiem Mass: A Queer Divine Rite, a monumental choral work organized by renowned singer-composer Holcombe Waller. Manhattan Theatre Club's new Broadway production of Saint Joan written by Nobel Prize in Literature and Academy Award winner Bernard Shaw and directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan is now in its final two weeks of performances. Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere of Dan Cody's Yacht, written by Anthony Giardina and directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes, begins performances tomorrow - Tuesday, May 15 - at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street).
