Reprise Theatre Company presents Jerry Seinfeld Live! hosted by Jason Alexander, for one performance only on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 8:00 pm, at the Saban Theatre, Beverly Hills (formerly the Wilshire Theatre). This extraordinary event will feature the hilarious comedy of Jerry Seinfeld and will reunite him with Reprise's Artistic Director and the evening's host, Jason Alexander. Ticket sales support Reprise and its mission to produce musical theatre and provide arts education programs for underserved members of our community.

Lily Tomlin and Jane Wagner will help make Times Square a littlepinker - and all of New York City, in fact - when they present actor Leslie Jordan in hisacclaimed solo show, My Trip Down The Pink Carpet, at the Midtown Theater (163 West46th Street) this Spring.

Signature Theatre, the current recipient of the Tony Award® for Regional Theatre, presents the world premiere musical Sycamore Trees by Ricky Ian Gordon, composer of the acclaimed opera The Grapes of Wrath and the OBIE Award-winning Orpheus and Euridice, as well as the musicals My Life with Albertine and Dream True.

This week, both in memory of the real-life Baby June, June Havoc, who passed away this week, as well as a precursory introduction to a multi-part series critiquing the entire canon of all major Sondheim cast albums available in anticipation of the late April opening of the new review SONDHEIM ON SONDHEIM (currently in previews at Studio 54), we are taking a listen to the various cast recordings of the major productions on Broadway/West End of GYPSY over the last fifty years. GYPSY was, of course, one of the first scores on Broadway boasting lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and whether a leading lady the likes of Ethel Merman, Angela Lansbury, Tyne Daly, Bernadette Peters or Patti LuPone, it is a score unlike any other before or since and a true pinnacle of not only musical theatre, but all theatre, on Broadway and beyond. Some may even say the greatest musical of all...

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed 'Best of New York' by New York Magazine, and 'an invaluable New York institution' by The New York Post, continues its Spring 2010 season with the return of the young identical twin brothers WILL & ANTHONY NUNZIATA after two sold-out performances last fall.

Due to popular demand, the Attic Theatre's production of Side By Side By Sondheim has been extended to May 2nd. The production was originally set to close April 18th.

Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College concludes its 2009-2010 Arts in the Afternoon series with the 1940s musical revue In the Mood on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at 2pm.

Reprise Theatre Company's production of 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,' 1962's Tony-Award-winning Best Musical, will play its final performance on March 28 at UCLA's Freud Playhouse. Directed by David Lee, the production's book is by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.

Prescott Fine Arts Association presents the Broadway musical fable, GYPSY, directed by veteran PFAA director, Bruce Lanning. The final performance is slated for March 27, 2010.

Jason Danieley and the Frontier Heroes will perform a benefit concert for the Actors Fund on May 10 at 8:30 PM at Feinstein's at the Regency (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

Reprise Theatre Company presents An Intimate Evening with Marvin Hamlisch for one performance only on Monday, March 22 at 8:00 pm, at UCLA's Freud Playhouse.

San Jose Repertory Theatre will host Ed Anser in a solo performance of FDR as part of the Rep's Summer Blockbuster series. Ed Asner, recipient of seven Emmy Awards ('Mary Tyler Moore Show,' 'Lou Grant') and 16 nominations, five Golden Globe Awards, and a member of the TV Academy Hall of Fame, will star in the solo performance drama, FDR from July 14th to July 18th at San Jose Rep.

Tony Award winner Sutton Foster will perform her solo show 'An Evening with Sutton Foster' at the Kirk Douglas Theatre on April 29 and 30. Foster will be accompanied by her Musical Director Michael Rafter. Songs for the evening are drawn from her critically-acclaimed debut solo album Wish and from the stage roles that have helped make her famous, such as Thoroughly Modern Millie and The Drowsy Chaperone.

CLARE BURT - the acclaimed West End stage star who helped introduce London audiences to shows like Nine, Into The Woods, Sunday In The Park With George, and Passion - will make her New York performance debut next month.

Andrea Marcovicci is set to bring her most-requested show, I'll Be Seeing You . . . Love Songs of WWII, to the Janet and Ray Scherr Forum Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza on March 13th. The performance will include music direction by Shelly Markham and feautured songs by Hoagy Carmichael, Johnny Mercer, and Jule Styne. Full casting has been announced for the upcoming production of the Attic Theatre's SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM. The five-person cast will include Jenny Ashman, Jennifer Blake, Morgan Duke, Nick Sarando and Joe Donohoe. The show begins performances March 12th.
