Will And Anthony Nunziata Come To Feinstein's 4/20-24

By:

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine, and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post, continues its Spring 2010 season with the return of the young identical twin brothers WILL & Anthony Nunziata after two sold-out performances last fall. Their new show, "From Pelham to Park Avenue," features songs from Broadway by Stephen Sondheim ("Pretty Women"), Jule Styne ("Make Someone Happy") and Frank Loesser ("I Believe In You"), Italian classics ("Funniculi, Funnicula") and numbers from newer songwriters like Michael Feinstein ("Swing Is Back In Style"). The engagement - which is directed by Richard Jay-Alexander and features Music Director Ben Toth on piano and Jered Egan on bass - runs at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

WILL & Anthony Nunziata - dubbed "a dynamic duo with beautiful voices and charming personalities" by Cleveland Pops conductor Carl Topilow - have traveled the country with their duo concert act, recent as soloists with the Boston Pops (through arrangements made by Boston College President Father Leahy, they became the first identical twins to perform with the Pops), as well as guest artist appearances the Cleveland Pops Orchestra, Colorado Symphony Orchestra, Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra, and at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Rose Hall. The Nunziatas are currently under the direction of Richard Jay-Alexander, recent director and collaborator of such entertainers as Barbra Streisand and Bernadette Peters.

Recently the brothers sang in the grand finale song "Sunday" at "Sondheim: The Birthday Concert!" at New York's Avery Fisher Hall - a concert celebrating the music and 80th birthday of Stephen Sondheim - and appeared at the "Broadway Backwards 5" benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, hosted by Florence Henderson. Also, Will and Anthony can be heard singing as "the boys" in the song "Roxie" on Melora Hardin's ("The Office") CD All the Way to Mars. Their upcoming concerts include the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach, FL, as well as venues in Wayne, NJ; Westport, CT; Sarasota, FL and Brookfield, WI.

The brothers were born in Brooklyn, raised in Westchester County and attended Boston College. They were New York All-State cross country runners and tennis players, as well as being two-time junior National platform tennis doubles champions.
