In keeping with the tradition of presenting signature 'GRAMMY® Moments,' the Recording Academy® has announced two special segments to take place on the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards®. The first, 'Old Town Road All-Stars,' will feature current nominees Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus joined by BTS, Diplo, Mason Ramsey, and other surprise guests. Over the past year, 'Old Town Road' has been the subject of numerous mixes and mashups, which inspired bringing together a number of acts who have performed it, making it a one-of-a-kind performance.
The Younes and Soraya Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts will present Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra (LACO) for the third consecutive year on Friday, February 7 at 8:00pm. LACO's new Music Director Jaime Martín will conduct the highly anticipated U.S. premiere of Albert Schnelzer's Burn My Letters: Remembering Clara. The program also features Dvořák's radiant Symphony No. 6 and renowned German violinist Christian Tetzlaff performing Beethoven's Violin Concerto which continues The Soraya's celebration of Beethoven's 250th anniversary this season. With a celebrated career encompassing five decades, Pinchas Zukerman is one of the world's most sought-after and versatile musicians, as a violin and viola soloist, conductor, and chamber musician. The 2019–20 season marks Zukerman's eleventh as Principal Guest Conductor of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. His extensive discography includes more than 100 titles, for which he earned two GRAMMY Awards and 21 nominations.

Idyllwild Arts Foundation welcomes new year-round Director of Orchestral Programs Ransom Wilson andAssociate Director of Orchestral Programs, Gregory Robbins. Signaling the beginning of an exciting new era, in which the Summer Program and Academy will become more closely integrated, Wilson and Robbins have been brought on board this fall to build on the prestige and prominence of the existing program. Wilson is a world-renowned flutist, recording artist, chamber musician and conductor who joins Idyllwild Arts from Yale University School of Music where he is professor of flute. Robbins is a performer and educator who most recently served as the director of educational outreach at the Geneva Music Festival and executive director of the Young Artists Philharmonic.

Utah Symphony | Utah Opera and Music Director Thierry Fischer announced an extension of Conner Gray Covington's contract through the 2020-21 season, and a retention of his two titles as Utah Symphony Associate Conductor and Principal Conductor of the Deer Valley Music Festival, the latter of which he received in Spring 2019. The agreement extends the current contract, set to expire at the end of the 2019-20 season, for an additional year until August 31, 2021.
