Manchester by the Sea hits select theatres on Friday, November 18, written and directed by Kenneth Lonergan and starring his theater friends Casey Affleck (This Is Our Youth in London), Michelle Williams, Kyle Chandler, Gretchen Mol, C.J. As Go Comedy! prepares to celebrate its 8th anniversary in November, it has added two original comedies, a Halloween party and a very special election night celebration to its schedule. Tickets for all Go Comedy! shows ($5-$18) are available now online at www.gocomedy.net and beginning at 6:00pm Wednesday - Sunday in person at the Go Comedy! box office. The Public Theater presents the first major New York revival of Plenty, written by David Hare. Directed by five-time Tony Award nominee David Leveaux, the show began performances on Tuesday, October 4 and will now run through Thursday, December 1. The Old Globe presents the world premiere of Steve Martin's new play METEOR SHOWER, an adult comedy, marking his welcome return to the Globe following the great success of Bright Star. It will be directed by Gordon Edelstein in a co-production with Long Wharf Theatre, where Edelstein serves as Artistic Director (and no, he is not related to Barry).

Actor/playwright Eric Bogosian just launched a Kickstarter campaign for 100monologues.com, a series of short films which feature a variety of New York-based actors performing monologues from his award-winning solo shows -- Funhouse; Drinking in America; Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll; Pounding Nails in the Floor with My Forehead; and Wake Up and Smell the Coffee.

Artistic Director Hal Brooks announced that casting is now complete for the 2015 season of Cape Cod Theatre Project, featuring new works by Lucas Hnath, Laura Jacqmin, Kevin Armento and Ryan King each weekend in July. Two-time Tony Award nominee K. The Public Theater just opened George Brant's Grounded, directed by two-time Tony Award winner Julie Taymor and featuring Academy Award winner Anne Hathaway.
