This season, Go Comedy! is turning the holidays upside down with its 8th annual holiday revue, Manger Things and featuring a new installment of its "best-of" holiday sketch comedy revue Naughty Or Nice. Tickets for all Go Comedy! shows ($5-$18) are available now online at www.gocomedy.net and beginning at 6:00pm Wednesday - Sunday in person at the Go Comedy! box office. A complete Go Comedy! weekly schedule follows this release.

Manger Things
The world is a scary place. Sometimes the Holidays are scarier. One family gathers together on Christmas Eve, waiting for Santa to arrive. As they wait they trade holiday stories to pass the time. From wise men to Rudolph, turkeys to nutcrackers, things might be upside down out there, but the holidays are here to warm our hearts and remember the important things in life, like laughter, family and love. Manger Things is written and performed by Chris DiAngelo, Erik Heilner, Suzie Jacokes, Julia Schroeder, Andrew Seiler and Janelle Soulliere. It is directed by Pete Jacokes with musical direction by Jeremy St. Martin and assistance from Tommy LeRoy. Performances run November 17 - December 23 with tickets ($15-$20) available now at www.gocomedy.net.

Naughty Or Nice
Go Comedy! has taken its favorite sketches from seven years of original holiday shows, and put them in one spectacular revue. This season's best of Go Comedy! show is directed by Tim Kay and features Emily Engelhart, Josh Hamilton, Nuverre Naami, Donny Riedel, Sara Rose, and Mitch Socia. Naughty Or Nice runs November 30 - December 23 with tickets ($10-$15) available now at www.gocomedy.net.

Hangover's Eve
The night before Thanksgiving (Wednesday, November 23) is traditionally known as the biggest bar night of the year. In that spirit, Go Comedy! presents Hangover's Eve - a night featuring some of the best improv troupes in Metro Detroit including: Improv! The Musical, Presto Change-o, The Interviewees, and Ghost Pepper. Showtime is 8:00pm and tickets are $10.

The variety of shows coming to the Go Comedy! stage this month also includes:

Fresh Sauce
Go Comedy!'s open improv jam. Anyone with an interest in improv can play improv games with other improvisers of all experience levels.

Matt Naas Variety Show
Matt Naas hosts Go Comedy!'s variety show, The Matt Naas Variety Show featuring live music from the Variety All-Star Band, surprise guests and the best in local talent. Matt & his crew will bring a new experience to the stage each month.

Name This Show
Go Comedy! presents a free long-form improv set featuring cast members from Friday & Saturdaynight's shows to close out the evening. The audience names the show and the cast creates the material on-the-spot starting around 11:45pm Friday and Saturday evenings. Free.

Pandemonia

More improv than you can shake an invisible stick at! 12 comedians vie for laughs, love and points to see who can be the last one standing through a series of comedic scenes, songs, and even party games. Audience suggestions pave the way for a wild night of improv comedy. Not to be missed! Pandemonia features a rotating cast with Dana Arcicovich, Sheevani Desai, Chris Fortin, Kathryn Gonsoir, Eric Haenke, Josh Hamilton, Lisa Jacokes, Doug Kolbicz, Tim Lally, Charlie Matt, Katie McGraw, Aaron Mondry, Maggie O'Reilly, Nicole Pascaretta, Matt Penridge, Jeff Smyk, Mitch Socia, and Tamara White.

The X-Factory
In the darkest corners of the Go Labs (where lighting is poor due to a lack of electrical outlets) Doctors Pete Jacokes and James Quesada are producing bold, innovative new shows that break the mold of genre, format, and the space-time continuum!

Eight-years of original comedy
In the fall of 2008 the former Ferndale Secretary of State office was transformed into Go Comedy! Improv Theater - a catalyst for hundreds of original shows, a robust improv academy, and an incubator for innovation, inspiration and integrity. Today, Go Comedy! is home for hundreds of improvisers, at least 50 improv troupes, and a weekly schedule of hilarious award-winning programming that has garnered local and national recognition.

The theater's signature show continues to be The Go Comedy! All Star Showdown which has played on Friday and Saturday nights continually for eight years. Featuring members of Go Comedy!'s resident company, The All Star Showdown puts two teams of improvisers in an improv competition tailored to challenge their abilities, think on their feet and give audiences a roaring good time. The cast also plays for audience members who take home fabulous prizes when their team wins. It's a night of hilarious laughs and great times!
