Audience members at Friday's performance of Something Rotten received quite the treat when Adam Pascal, currently appearing as Rotten's very own pretty boy front man, William Shakespeare, performed One Song Glory to benefit fundraising efforts for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Pascal first performed the famous tune on Broadway when he originated the role of Roger in the original production of Jonathan Larson's iconic musical about a group of friends and artists struggling to survive in New York City in the midst of the AIDS crisis.
Artists To Create Converse 'Chucks' to Raise Awareness For Ocean Conservation

SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ Select artists, celebrities, and entrepreneurs are helping raise awareness for ocean conservation through a Design Collaboration with Converse, in which each of them will custom design a pair of Converse Classic Chuck Taylors. YoungArts Kicks Off Miami Art Week with Opening Festivities

Last night, on Tuesday, November 29th, the National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts) kicked off its Miami Art Week programming with the debut of two visual arts exhibitions: When We Were Young, which features rarely seen contemporary masterworks from the JPMorgan Chase Art Collection paired with newly created works by YoungArts Visual Arts alumni; and Roots, an immersive, site-specific installation of new work by Cuban-American artist Jose Parla.

Kent Skov's L.A. Connection Comedy Theatre (LAC) continues its popular celebration of the incoming new year, which has been sold out every year for the past 24 years, with two shows featuring an all-star troupe of improv players. The schedule for December 31 was announced today by founder Kent Skov. This will be the club's first New Year's Eve in the new Burbank location.
