This is a brilliant and joyous prequel to PETER PAN.

Some art offends not out of malice, but out of necessity. It erodes our defenses and upsets the hierarchies we've internalized for generations. Cloud 9 thrives in that awkward space where laughter and shock trade places. Caryl Churchill's comedy, though seemingly gratuitous, diagnoses our assumptions about who truly holds power.

Tartuffe by Molière is now playing at The Rogue Theatre, and it is glorious! This was my first time visiting The Rogue, and I am kicking myself for not venturing into this incredible performance space sooner.

Rogue Theatre's season finale, AS YOU LIKE IT, delivers old-fashioned comedic romp. In Tucson, runs through May 9th.

There is tremendous support in our audience for bringing younger people into the theatre, and we're having some success in that regard. I'm positive, but I'm also unsure of where we are headed with digital technologies and what they mean for our industry and the larger culture. Our challenge, I suppose, is to be adaptive to what comes along without giving up the wisdom and glories of the past.
