I’ve often described the kind of work the Hampstead Downstairs produces as ‘academic’ - This Much I Know takes this a step further by transforming the stage into a lecture theatre. Framed through a college lecture, Eureka Day playwright Jonathan Spector’s play spans multiple continents and multiple centuries in search of an answer to its central question: are we responsible for the things that we cause by accident?

Jonathan Spector’s multi award-winning play, This Much I Know, will have its European premiere at Hampstead Downstairs from 13 December – 27 January (press night Tuesday 19 December, 7pm). An explosive theatrical interrogation of agency and culpability This Much I Know will be directed by Chelsea Walker and will star Oscar Adams, Esh Alladi and Natalie Klamar.

Portland Center Stage’s annual JAW New Play Festival returns July 28-30, 2023. JAW is PCS’s week-long assembling of artists and audiences to create new plays. Aurora Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Jonathan Spector's new play, THIS MUCH I KNOW. This work represents a return to Aurora for Spector, whose previous collaboration on EUREKA DAY achieved critical acclaim and won every Bay Area new play award. EUREKA DAY was an original work commissioned by Aurora Theatre Company through its ORIGINATE + GENERATE program.

Colt Coeur will present the World Premiere of Dodi & Diana, by Kareem Fahmy. Commissioned by Colt Coeur and directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt (Eureka Day), Dodi & Diana begins previews on October 1, 2022, for a strictly limited engagement through October 29, 2022, at HERE.
