NHAT Opens Season with MA RAINEY'S BLACK BOTTOM, Now thru 7/8

New Haarlem Arts Theatre (NHAT), the professional theater company of City College of New York (CCNY), will open its second season tonight, June 14 through July 8 with 'Ma Rainey's Black Bottom' by August Wilson, directed by Eugene Nesmith and starring Johnnie Mae as Ma.

FLYING FABLES Plays New Haarlem Arts Theatre, 7/14-27

Aiming to become a community anchor with the capacity to unite theater professionals, students and local residents of all ages, New Haarlem Arts Theatre, the professional theater company of City College of New York (CCNY), will present its first play for young audiences, 'Flying Fables,' adapted by Obie-winner Stephanie Berry, directed by John-Martin Green with choreography and staging by Bruce Hawkins, and original music by Patricia Ju from July 14 to 27 at Aaron Davis Hall, 135th Street and Convent Avenue.

Men will sit on one side of the house and women will sit on the other for TWO INTIMATE, an evening of EDEN by Eugene O'Brien and THE LOVER by Harold Pinter, presented by Cat on my Head Productions, LLC from tonight, May 24 to June 9 at Dorothy Strelsin Theatre at Abingdon Theatre Complex, 312 West 36th Street. Tickets are $25.
