The Daily Mail has reported that Sinead Cusack is set to star alongside Sir Ian McKellen an upcoming production of Shakespeare's King Lear. Cusack will portray Lear's loyal courtier Kent. The Mail describes her approach as playing the Earl as 'an Angela Merkel-esque, straight-talking woman.'

Composer Jonathan Bailey Holland has been commissioned by the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and conductor Louis Langrée to write a world premiere for the re-opening of the Music Hall as part of their Grand Opening festivities, October 6-7, 2017. Holland has composed Stories of Home with the idea that over the decades, the Music Hall has served as a “home” for people from a variety of walks of life.

Each concert is preceded by a discussion with composer mentors, mentees, and performers, led by a distinguished thought leader.
