Your New Year will soon be full of laughs thanks to The Groundlings Theatre's line-up of shows on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays with the return of “Groundlings Hook-up App” and new show “What Happens in Sunday Stays in Sunday.”  The always hilarious Groundlings, Los Angeles' premiere comedy troupe of 43 years, will present the latest and greatest sketches and improv from top level of talent. 

Carnival Corporation & plc, the world's largest leisure travel company, today announced the launch of its Celebrity Apprentice Charity Challenge, an online consumer contest running in conjunction with the upcoming season of NBC's THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE

Six additional boardroom advisors will join THE NEW CELEBRITY APPRENTICE boss Arnold Schwarzenegger for the new Los Angeles-based season kicking off on Monday, Jan. 2 (8-10 p.m. ET/PT) on NBC.

 Kent Skov's L.A. Connection Comedy Theatre (LAC) continues its popular celebration of the incoming new year, which has been sold out every year for the past 24 years, with two shows featuring an all-star troupe of improv players. The schedule for December 31 was announced today by founder Kent Skov.  This will be the club's first New Year's Eve in the new Burbank location.

Twelve world-class brands will be featured when NBC's THE NEW CELEBRITY APPRENTICE kicks off Monday, Jan. 2 (8-10 p.m. ET/PT) with twice-elected California governor, international movie superstar and successful businessman Arnold Schwarzenegger reigning over the boardroom.

Based on a true story, this one-act play written by and starring Groundlings' Annie Sertich puts a twist on the familiar one-woman show format. Not a typical show you'd find at The Groundlings, this exciting and different play about love and loss will take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions asking yourself, 'Did this really happen?' and the answer is yes. As in usual Groundlings fashion, the show will definitely provide a lot of laughs. This show has been seen by sold out audiences during previous runs in Los Angeles and New York.

Beginning Jan. 6 and 7, comedic icons and beloved "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) veterans Jon Lovitz and Dana Carvey, headline The Foundry at SLS Las Vegas for the hilarious 20-show residency, "Reunited."

The Talent Managers Association (TMA) is proud to announce this year's Lifetime Achievement honor in Management will be given to Chuck Binder, who founded Binder & Associates in 1978. The TMA recently announced the agent and casting director nominees for the 14th Annual Heller Awards, along with two other Lifetime Achievement honorees: legendary agent Jack Gilardi (ICM Partners) and casting director Craig Fincannon (Fincannon and Associates).

To honor his legacy, Museum of the Moving Image will present The Master: Philip Seymour Hoffman from September 16 through October 2, a retrospective featuring sixteen films, including his directorial debut Jack Goes Boating; Capote, for which he won an Academy Award for Leading Actor; and The Master, Magnolia, and Boogie Nights- three films he made with Paul Thomas Anderson.

Launching the new year in dramatic style, NBC has set January premiere dates for three key midseason series — “The New Celebrity Apprentice,” now in Los Angeles and starring master of the boardroom Arnold Schwarzenegger; “Grimm,” which will begin its sixth and final season; and the epic, romantic and wondrous “Emerald City.”

Stand-up comedienne, Amy Snowden's one-woman performance Casting Confessions From La to LA. is written and performed by Amy Snowden and directed by Joe Salazar. The show will premiere as part of The Hollywood Fringe Festival 2016. Opening June 3rd, 2016 at The Actors Company (Let Live Theatre).
