New Comedy Show GROUNDLINGS OF THE CORN to Debut This Fall ImageIf you're looking to HARVEST some laughter this fall, catch The Groundlings at the CORNer of Melrose and Poinsettia with their all-new comedy show, GROUNDLINGS OF THE CORN. Opening Night is Friday, October 6 and will include bar courtesy of Ninkasi Brewing Company with bites catered from a local hot spot. The only thing you'll be SACRIFICING is a boring night at home!

Director, Deanna Oliver leads the killer cast including Lauren Burns, Josh Duvendeck, Chris Eckert, Patty Guggenheim, Kiel Kennedy, Andrew Leeds, Laird MacIntosh, Ariane Price, Eliot Schwartz and Alex Stagg.

Opening Night is Friday, October 6 at 8:00pm. Show will run every Friday at 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. through January 20, 2018. Tickets for Opening Night are $50.00 and include two drink tickets and a post-show dinner. Tickets after opening night are $20.00

The Groundlings Theatre is an improvisation and sketch comedy theatre that has been entertaining LA audiences for 42 years. They are a non-profit organization founded by Gary Austin in 1974. A "Groundling" is one of the 30 company members who write and perform in the theatre's shows and teach classes at the Groundling's School. The school has been the foremost comedy training ground in Hollywood and the springboard for countless careers including comic geniuses from film and television such as Jennifer Coolidge, Will Ferrell, Ana Gasteyer, Kathy Griffin, Cheryl Hines, Chris Kattan, Lisa Kudrow, Phil LaMarr, Jon Lovitz, Karen Maruyama, Melissa McCarthy, Michael McDonald, Paul Reubens, Maya Rudolph, Mindy Sterling and Kristen Wiig, among others. In addition to being comedy performers, Groundlings members and alumni hold writing positions on many of Hollywood's top television and film projects.
