Prince William Little Theatre presents the musical comedy 9 to 5, The Musical at the Hylton Performing Arts Center!  This show is based on the seminal 1980 hit movie with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick. 9 to 5, The Musical is produced by arrangement with MUSIC THEATRE INTERNATIONAL.

Reston Community Players Wins 13 WATCH Awards

Reston Community Players was honored with 13 WATCH awards Sunday evening at the Birchmere in Alexandria.  WATCH, the Washington Area Theatre Community Honors, is an organization founded for the adjudication and presentation of annual awards recognizing artistic and technical excellence in community theater throughout the metropolitan Washington D.C. area. celebrates A total of 99 productions (33 musicals, 66 plays) were adjudicated in 2017.

It's known as one of the most classic American musicals of all time. Broadway productions have starred legends ranging from Ethel Merman, Bernadette Peters, and Patti LuPone. While, the motion picture versions were led by Merman and Bette Midler. Now, Gypsy takes the stage at Reston Community Players October 21-November 12 in an exciting opening to the company's 50th season. Loosely based on the memoirs of the famous striptease artist Gypsy Rose Lee, Gypsy focuses on the story of her mother, Rose, called "the ultimate stage mother."
