All new photos have been released from Death Note the Musical at the London Palladium. Following acclaimed productions in Japan and Korea, Death Note the Musical received its English language premiere with three star-studded concerts at the London Palladium on 21 & 22 August. 

As the 2023 Festival draws to a close, Glyndebourne has announced the programme for 2024, when the company marks its 90th anniversary year.

Olivier award-winner George Maguire, Jessica Lee, Carl Man, Boaz Chad and Patrick Munday are joining the cast of Death Note The Musical in Concert at the Lyric Theatre.

The video was directed by Nick Rattigan alongside director of photography, Leia Jospe (How To With John Wilson, John Early: Now More Than Ever), who shot the video in one continuous take on Santa Monica Beach. Current Joys will be hosting an take-over of Baby’s All Right in New York on July 26th, featuring LOVE + POP collaborator Brutus VIII.

Nenda Neururer will star as Leela, completing the cast of It’s Headed Straight Towards Us, a comedy written by stars of The Young Ones, Adrian Edmondson and Nigel Planer.

After selling out its initial two performances at the London Palladium in under eight hours, the producers of Death Note the Musical have added an additional performance on Tuesday 22nd August at 2.30pm.

Frances Mayli McCann (Bonnie in 'Bonnie & Clyde' in the West End), Dean John-Wilson (Lun-Tha in 'The King & I' in the West End) and Joaquin Pedro Valdes (Ram Sweeney in 'Heathers' at The Other Palace) will star in Death Note: The Musical. Learn more about the show and how to get tickets here!

The Stephen Sondheim Society Student Performer of the Year competition – affectionately known as SSSSPOTY – was inaugurated in 2007, and in 2023 returns for its 15th year. The gala final will be held, fittingly, in the Sondheim Theatre, on the afternoon of 11 June 2023.
